On Friday, February 20, at 6:00 p.m. (PT), the Mensch International Foundation awarded AGRP Director Dr. Taner Akçam on his work in commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The Mensch International Foundation hosted an evening of remembrance and recognition on Friday, February 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts at Saban Theatre (8444 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90211).
The program commemorated the victims of the Armenian Genocide and featured remarks by Dr. Taner Akçam and LMU Loyola Law School Professor Stanley Goldman. The evening also included the presentation of the Mensch Award to Holocaust survivors Harry Davids and Steven Kovary.
A special Middle Eastern–inspired dinner was served ($75), followed by a Shabbat service.
